This guide will teach you how to defeat TzTok-Jad and claim your Fire Cape!

Getting there - Go to your spellbook and click the Minigames teleport and go to the Fight Pits. Once you are there follow the path until you find the cave across from the bank. There are 10 waves.

I recommend using Range or Mage in this minigame.

Range

Gear

Inventory

Mage

Gear

Inventory

These are the monsters you will encounter inside!

Tz-Kih (level 22)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Always take this out first, it will drain your prayer.

Tz-Kek (level 45)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Easy to kill but once killed two level 22's will spawn.

Tz-Kek (level 22)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
This is what is spawned once killing the level 45.

Tok-Xil (level 90)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Kill these ones third because they range you.

Yt-MejKot (level 180)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
You should try and find a safe spot for these guys they can hit pretty hard up close and he heals himself.

Ket-Zek (level 360)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Kill these after the level 22's are dead but keep your distance.

TzTok-Jad (level 702)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
You will have to switch from protect from mage to protect from range frequently.

Once you are inside you will want to pray protect from mage for every wave because without it you will die from the Ket-Zeks. The following order that I kill them in is Tz-Kih, Ket-Zek, Tok-Xil, Yt-MejKot, Tz-Kek. The first 8 waves are mostly the same but slightly different. On the ninth wave there will be two Ket-Zeks. The tenth wave of course is TzTok-Jad!

For Jad you will want to find a spot where he can only range and mage you, that way you don't have to worry about switching to protect from melee.

Here is a picture of where to hide from Jad, stand here before he spawns.

Now this is how you know whether to pray protect from range or protect from mage.

If Jad stands up and stomps the ground this means to pray protect from range.

For mage Jad will stand up on his hind legs and shoot out a fire ball looking thing.

Once Jad dies you will return outside of the cave with this message

In your inventory you will have your Fire Cape along with 8032 Tokkul!

Good Luck!
